Wedding Ceremony FAQ

It is such an important day and you don’t want to miss a thing! The Ceremony FAQ page may help answer any questions you have or simply give us a call and we are happy to help you any way that we can. We want every moment to be perfect for you!

I have been officiating weddings since 2015.

Keith Carson Weddings is based in Ocala, Florida, and serves all of North Central Florida, including Alachua, Gainesville, Chiefland, Dunnellon, Crystal River, Inverness, The Villages, as well as destination, and Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings. I also officiate weddings in New York City. Or do you have somewhere else in mind? I will travel.

I think this is a great idea, and can certainly schedule a meeting. There is no charge to do so.

Yes. I know that no two couples are alike, and therefore, no two ceremonies should be alike. I will ask questions and get to know you so that I can create a ceremony that is reflective of your personalities, beliefs, and relationship. After the draft is complete, you will receive a copy for any suggested edits and final approval. I’m happy to work with you until it’s perfect.

Definitely. While I am a non-denominational minister, I am happy to work with you to create a custom ceremony that is authentic to you and your beliefs, whatever they may be.

Not if your ceremony is within 60 miles of Ocala, Florida. Anything over that would require a nominal fee which will be clearly listed in our contract. If you’ve selected a venue that doesn’t offer free parking, you are responsible for either validating or paying for parking. For destination weddings and weddings outside my normal service area, overnight accommodations may also be required.

While I try to be as flexible as possible in accommodating changes, I cannot guarantee my availability for a date or time change. Please let me know as soon as possible if you plan on making any changes so I can try to find a proper solution.

Absolutely! I’m happy to work with your other vendors. Your photographer and videographer can shoot whenever and however they would like. It is your special day!
